Come Volunteer Your Time and Talents with the
Heritage Trail Association

Are you looking for a unique organization to give your time to? Heritage Trail Association has many volunteer opportunities for you to choose from. We offer fun and interesting one-day programs and events that consistently need volunteer staffing, as well as long term opportunities to serve on a committee or as a member of our Board of Trustees. If any of these activities appeal to you, please contact us at (732) 356-8856.

Board Members: HTA is looking for individuals to serve on its Board of Trustees. Expertise in one or more of the following areas would be helpful: marketing; strategic planning; fund raising; legal or financial services. An interest in our mission of promoting, educating and celebrating the rich, diverse heritage of this county is essential!

The Board of Trustees currently meets 12 times per year (usually the first Thursday from 5:00 - 6:30 pm). Contact Board President, Sidna Mitchell at sbmcooks@aol.com or (609) 409-7837 for further information.

Program Volunteer Opportunity / Internship: Do you have marketing, promotional/public relations or educational background? Are you looking for an exciting and meaningful way to spend a few hours per month or earn college credit? If so, contact Monique Rubens Krohn @ (732) 356-8856 for information on how you can become involved with our agency's unique programming.

Event Volunteer Opportunity / Internship: Do you have a marketing, sales, hospitality or special events background? Or, perhaps you just have a natural flair for planning parties? Contact Monique Rubens Krohn @ (732) 356-8856 to find out how to become involved with one of our unusual and exciting events held throughout the year!

Public Relations Volunteers: Writers, graphic designers and photographers are also needed to help with work on our flyers, newsletters and press releases.

Office Duties/Event Day Volunteers: We are always happy to have extra help with activities such as database entry, historical and marketing research, event registration, tour assistants and more!

The Heritage Trail Association received an operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State.
